Menumate Office Release Notes
Patron Count by Menu Item
Menumate has added the feature to allow a business to automatically calculate the customer or patron count based on the type of meals that have been purchased. For example if a site was to determine that they wanted to count the patron or customers based on how many main meals were sold then a sale with 2 Entrée’s, 2 Mains and 1 Dessert would product a count of 2 customers. The setting to enter the patron count for meals is in the Menumate editor for the items size. Once the Default Patron Count has been configured and the menus committed to the POS the option in Miscellaneous Settings also need to be turn on in the POS (See Point of Sale Release Notes)
Payment with Loyalty Points
Menumate has added the feature to allow a business to restrict items from being paid for with Loyalty Points. These may be low margin items, restricted purchase items or specialty items that need to be paid by cash or credit card BUT NOT point.
By default all items can be paid using points. To stop an item from being able to be purchased using points then UNTICK the option for that item in its loyalty tab called “Can be paid for using points”.
Multi Buy (1 for $10.00 and 3 for $20.00)
Menumate has added the feature to allow a business to offer a multi buy system where items can be configured to automatically provide a discounted price based on the number of items sold. By creating a category for the promotion e.g. 3 for $15 and assigning that to the breakdown category section of the items that are part of the promotion the POS will automatically adjust the price.
There are additional deal settings to be made in the POS for each promotion (See Point of Sale Release Notes) and a dedicated and detailed Multi-Buy How To document that can be downloaded specifically for this feature.
Menumate has added the feature to allow Priced Barcodes to be used in conjunction with labelling scales. The process of using this new feature is in the Priced Barcodes How To document that can be downloaded specifically for this feature.
