Iconic Coffee Cafe's

Coffee Culture is an icon in the coffee scene in Christchurch. With 9 Cafe’s in Christchurch, Coffee Culture's mission to create luxurious, welcoming stores that provide a haven from the cut and thrust of everyday life is well achieve in all of their cafe's.

Menumate has provided  point of sale throughout all of the Coffee Culture cafe's enhancing Coffee Culture experience. The focus for Coffee Culture and MenuMate is to ensure the customer’s receive efficient service at Point of Sale. Secondary to the customer service is the accuracy of information to the Barista and food preparation areas, when orders are entered into MenuMate the printers for the Barista is printed immediately for them to make.

Coffee Culture have also launche the Culture Card, a smart card based loyalty card enabling Coffee Culture customers to earn loyalty at all their cafes.

Wholly Bagels

Evolution of the Bagel

Born into royalty, the Bagel was invented in 1683 by a Jewish baker in Vienna to thank the Polish King for saving the city from invaders. Honouring the King's love of the gee-gees, the baker crafted a hard roll in the shape of a stirrup, hence its original name 'bugel' – German for stirrup.

In May of 1998, a Bagel Baker from Washington DC opens Wholly Bagels in Wellington, New Zealand. And the first Bagel Aotearoa was born and sold.

Helping deliver the Bagel to the customer's of the countries capital is MenuMate. MenuMate was installed at Wholly Bagels to improve the speed of service and manufacture of the bagel.

Wholly Bagels management strive for speed and monitor this daily with MenuMate. As the customer is ordering the bagel before the customer has finished ordering and way before it is paid for the bagel is already cut in half, toasted and the toppings being prepared. Mean while the customer is still ordering their coffee.

Wholly Bagels know the quicker they deliver the bagel the quicker they can server the next customer. Speedy service provided with MenuMate.

Underground coffee run are highly successful loyalty rewards system using MenuMate. Nearly 50% of all underground customers are proud underground card carrying members earning loyalty points for all their coffee and tea purchases and giving them the ability to preload money on their loyalty cards.
